Our commitment
Pulse Atlas Health is committed to making its editorial library usable by as many people as possible. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA and treat accessibility as a live discipline, not a one-off audit.
Compliance status
This site is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA. Most content is readable, keyboard-operable and works with screen readers, but there are known gaps set out below that we’re working to close.
Known limitations
- Some decorative imagery still relies on generic alt text; we’re re-authoring alt text guide-by-guide.
- Keyboard focus states are being tightened across interactive components - some rings and outlines are still low-contrast in dark backgrounds.
- We do not yet publish British Sign Language (BSL) video content or audio-described video guides.
- A small number of PDF downloads have not been reformatted for full assistive-tech compatibility.
Report an accessibility issue
If you find something that doesn’t work for you - a page you can’t read, a control you can’t reach, an image without meaningful alt text - please tell us through , including the page URL and a short description of the problem. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five working days.
Enforcement procedure
The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the accessibility regulations. If you’re not satisfied with how we respond to your complaint, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at equalityadvisoryservice.com.

This statement was last reviewed on 2026-08-11. We test the site with a combination of automated tooling (axe, Lighthouse) and manual keyboard and screen-reader checks (VoiceOver, NVDA).
