  • Segond fracture on X-ray

    No. The decision depends on your activity demands, the sports you want to return to, any concurrent meniscal or chondral injury and how your knee behaves after prehab. Selected patients — often older, sedentary or low-demand — do very well with a non-operative rehab pathway.

  • How long is the recovery from ACL reconstruction?

    Most patients return to running around 3–6 months and to pivoting sport around 9–12 months, subject to passing objective return-to-sport testing. Rehab, not the operation, is the main determinant of outcome.
