Why patients choose us
- 01
Honest advice first
We tell you whether a well-woman screen is actually worth it for you — before you spend a penny.
- 02
Paid by no clinic
We take nothing from the centres we suggest, so the guidance stays impartial and free.
- 03
We stay for the findings
A screen often finds something. We are still here to explain it and arrange what is next.
Indicative pricing
What a well-woman screen actually costs in London.

The problem
A useful screen — if the panel matches you.
Off-the-shelf well-woman packages tend to over-test in some areas and miss what actually matters for your age, cycle stage and family history. A short consultant conversation up front avoids both problems — and it is exactly what a good concierge should give you. We do.
-
Is it right for you?
For some women a screen is genuinely worthwhile; for others it causes more worry than benefit. We will say honestly which.
-
Which panel?
Essentials, standard or executive — plus cervical, breast, menopause, fertility or DEXA add-ons — we match it to your age, history and goals.
-
What happens after?
We do not just hand over a report — we explain the findings and arrange any follow-up.
The journey
From enquiry to report — what happens, in order.
One consultant physician and gynaecologist from first conversation to report and follow-up — usually within a week or two.

What it shows
The panel that actually earns its keep.
A well-woman screen covers a lot of ground — and comes with a real trade-off. Here is what it looks at, and the honest catch.
-
Cardiovascular risk profile
ECG, lipids, blood pressure and a validated risk calculator — women’s cardiac risk is often under-appreciated.
-
Gynaecological screening
Consultant gynaecology review, pelvic ultrasound where appropriate, and cervical screening on request.
-
Bone-density assessment
DEXA scan for those in the perimenopausal window or with risk factors, to catch early bone loss.
-
Hormonal check (menopause, thyroid)
FSH, oestradiol, thyroid and prolactin panels to make sense of cycle changes and symptoms.
-
Breast triple-assessment
Consultant examination, imaging (ultrasound or mammography) and biopsy pathway if anything needs it.
-
Mental-health check-in
Structured screens for anxiety, low mood and burnout — discussed honestly with your consultant.
-
Reproductive planning
Fertility overview, AMH testing and contraception review, tailored to what matters to you now.
-
Red flag: postmenopausal bleeding, breast lump — accelerated pathway
These deserve urgent work-up, not a screening slot. We route you into the right pathway the same day.
Well-woman screen options

What each option on your quote is actually for.

Our vetted London network
A small panel of clinics, we picked them.
Partners across central, north, west and south London. Not listed publicly — introductions are made privately, once we understand your case.
Selection criteria
How we choose every clinic in our network.
-
Consultant physicians + gynaecologists leading every screen
-
UKAS-accredited laboratories for all pathology
-
In-house imaging (ultrasound, mammography, DEXA) on the same day
-
Same-day results discussion where possible, with a clear onward plan
Honest limits and safety
What a screen can — and cannot — do.
The most important thing is understanding what a screen can and cannot tell you. We cover both, honestly, before you arrive.
-
Fasting for blood tests
Fast for 8-12 hours before the appointment for lipids and glucose. We send instructions in advance.
-
Book cervical screening between periods
Cervical smears are best taken mid-cycle, not during a period. We plan the appointment around this.
-
Avoid deodorant on the day for mammography
Deodorants and talc can show up on mammograms and confuse the image. Skip them on the morning of the scan.
-
Bring your usual medication list
Including HRT, the pill, thyroid medication and supplements — anything that affects bloods or symptoms.
-
Pregnancy — some tests deferred
Mammography, DEXA and certain bloods are deferred in pregnancy. We adjust the panel and plan a repeat afterwards.
-
Perimenopausal timing may affect hormones
FSH and oestradiol swing widely in perimenopause. Your consultant interprets them alongside symptoms rather than in isolation.
-
A chaperone is standard
A trained chaperone is offered for every intimate examination — never skipped, never assumed.
-
Same-day results for most bloods; imaging within 3-5 days
Point-of-care bloods come back on the day; specialist assays and imaging reports follow within a few days.
-
Always share prior tests
Previous smears, mammograms, DEXA scans and hormone results all help — bring them or ask us to request them.
Reading your report
A screening report can look intimidating. It isn’t.
However much ground it covers, the report keeps to the same four parts.
A quiet reminder
The report is written for a clinician — so we translate it, and tell you what matters.
If you would like us to talk you through it before your follow-up, just ask.

Frequently asked
Everything we get asked about well-woman screens.
Quick answers on what is included, fasting, cost, cycle timing, mammography, menopause and when to see a GP urgently.
-
What does a well-woman screen include?
A consultant physician and gynaecologist consultation, examination, bloods (HbA1c, lipids, liver, kidney, thyroid, hormones), ECG, urinalysis and a cardiovascular risk score. Depending on package: cervical screening, pelvic ultrasound, breast triple-assessment, DEXA bone-density and a menopause consult.
-
Do I need to fast?
Yes — fast for 8-12 hours for lipids and glucose. Water, prescribed medication and HRT are fine. We send full prep instructions before the day.
-
How long does it take?
The essentials and standard packages run as a half-day. Executive and combined options (breast, menopause, fertility) run a full day. We schedule tightly so there is no waiting around.
-
How much does a private well-woman screen cost in London?
Essentials from £450, standard £800-£1,600, and executive £1,500-£3,000. Add-ons for cervical screening, breast assessment or a menopause consult push the total to £2,000-£3,000. We confirm firm figures within one working day.
-
How do I book?
Send an enquiry with your age, cycle stage and any specific concerns. We come back within one working day with two or three options — clinic, panel, price and firm dates.
-
When in my cycle should I book cervical screening?
Ideally mid-cycle — around days 10-20 if you have regular periods — and never during a period. Postmenopausal? Any day is fine.
-
Mammography or breast ultrasound — which do I need?
Under 40, breast ultrasound is usually the right first test. Over 40, mammography is standard, with ultrasound added where breast tissue is dense or a lump needs characterising.
-
Do I need a menopause consult as part of the screen?
If you are between 40 and 55, or having symptoms like poor sleep, night sweats, brain fog or cycle changes, the menopause consult is where the screen earns its keep. Your consultant will say honestly whether HRT is worth exploring.
-
Can I still book if I am pregnant?
Yes, with an adjusted panel — no mammography, no DEXA, and certain bloods deferred. We build a screen that is useful in pregnancy and plan a fuller repeat afterwards.
-
When should I see a GP urgently instead of booking a screen?
Postmenopausal bleeding, a new breast lump, unintentional weight loss, blood in the urine or stool, or any acute symptom — see a GP or A&E first. We help you into an accelerated diagnostic pathway rather than a scheduled screen.
