HydraFacial Syndeo treatment in a London medi-spa - Pulse Atlas Health

Why patients choose us

  • 01

The latest Syndeo device, in vetted London clinics

Only clinics running the current-generation HydraFacial Syndeo (2023) with personalised digital protocols and single-use tips, not older Elite units.

  • 02

The right add-ons for your skin, not the upsell menu

Booster and LED selection based on what your skin actually needs on the day, from a therapist who will say no to boosters that will not help.

  • 03

    Honest about limits

HydraFacial is a maintenance treatment, not a fix for significant ageing or pigmentation. If you need retinoids, chemical peels or laser, we will say so.

The treatment

Six steps on the Syndeo device, in around 45 minutes.

From cleanse to LED, the same trained therapist takes you through every step of the Syndeo protocol.

  1. 01

    Before

    A short skin brief

You tell us your skin goals, current routine, and any active conditions. We match you to a HydraFacial provider whose approach fits.

  2. 02

    On the day

    Cleanse and exfoliate

The Vortex-Fusion tip removes dead skin and debris with a mild resurfacing solution, gentler than manual microdermabrasion.

  3. 03

    On the day

    Glycolic and salicylic peel

A light acid peel loosens pore congestion. No neutralising, no stinging beyond a mild tingle.

  4. 04

    On the day

    Painless vacuum extractions

The patented vortex tip uses gentle suction to lift blackheads and sebum from pores without manual squeezing.

  5. 05

    On the day

    Hydration infusion and boosters

Hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and your chosen booster (Dermabuilder, Growth Factor, Brightening) are pushed into the skin.

  6. 06

    On the day

    LED photodynamic finish

Red LED calms and supports collagen; blue LED targets acne bacteria. Optional lymphatic drainage on the Platinum protocol.

  7. 07

    After

    Home in the same hour

Mild redness for 1 to 2 hours, then an immediate glow. Best results at 5 to 10 days and with monthly maintenance.

When it helps

When HydraFacial is the right step, and when it is not.

The skin concerns where HydraFacial delivers, and the ones that need something deeper.

  • General skin brightening and glow

Dull, tired skin that needs an even, hydrated finish before an event or holiday.

  • Congested skin and blackheads

Visible pore congestion on the nose, chin and forehead that manual extractions cannot clear comfortably.

  • Mild to moderate acne, non-cystic

Superficial breakouts and oily skin, especially paired with blue LED and salicylic peel.

  • Ageing, dull skin as maintenance

Cumulative smoothing and hydration alongside your at-home retinoid or in-clinic actives.

  • Minor pigmentation and uneven tone

Light superficial pigmentation, paired with the Brightening Booster and ZO serums.

  • Oil control on combination skin

Regular monthly sessions reduce visible oil, congestion and midday shine.

  • Not for active cystic acne or rosacea

Severe cystic acne, active rosacea flares, active infections and recent sunburn should wait for medical treatment first.

  • Not a substitute for deeper treatment

Significant ageing, deep pigmentation or acne scarring needs retinoids, chemical peels, laser, microneedling or injectables.

How it compares

HydraFacial versus peels, dermaplaning and boosters.

What HydraFacial does that a chemical peel and dermaplaning cannot, and where they still beat it.

  • HydraFacial versus chemical peel

A chemical peel (glycolic, TCA, Jessner) penetrates deeper and treats pigmentation and texture more meaningfully, at the cost of 3 to 7 days of peeling. HydraFacial has no downtime.

  • HydraFacial versus dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a mechanical shave with a blade that removes vellus hair and dead skin. It does not deliver serums or clear pores. Often layered before a HydraFacial.

  • Where HydraFacial fits

A monthly maintenance step alongside at-home actives, not a standalone answer to ageing or pigmentation. Best value is the membership model.

  • Booster selection

Dermabuilder for fine lines, Growth Factor for repair and firming, Brightening for uneven tone. ZO Skin Health serums finish the treatment for take-home continuity.

Frequently asked

Everything we get asked about HydraFacial.

Quick answers on suitability, downtime, price, and how it compares.

  • What is HydraFacial and how does the Vortex-Fusion tip work?

HydraFacial is a multi-step medical-grade facial that combines cleansing, exfoliation, a light acid peel, painless vacuum extractions, hydration with serums and boosters, and LED. The patented Vortex-Fusion tip uses a spiralised suction to lift debris and simultaneously push hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and peptides into the skin. The current-generation Syndeo device (2023) runs personalised digital protocols.

  • Is HydraFacial suitable for my skin?

HydraFacial suits dull, congested, oily or mildly acneic skin, minor pigmentation, and general brightening before an event. It is not suitable for active severe cystic acne, an active rosacea flare, an active skin infection, or recent sunburn. If you have significant ageing, deep pigmentation or acne scarring, HydraFacial alone will not be enough.

  • Is there any downtime after HydraFacial?

No downtime. You may see mild redness for 1 to 2 hours, occasionally longer with the Platinum protocol. Make-up can be reapplied later the same day. The immediate glow is visible right away, with results at their best around 5 to 10 days later.

  • How does HydraFacial compare to a chemical peel or dermaplaning?

A chemical peel penetrates more deeply and does more for pigmentation and texture, at the cost of 3 to 7 days of peeling. Dermaplaning is a mechanical shave that removes vellus hair and dead skin but does not deliver serums or clear pores. HydraFacial sits between them: no downtime, deeper cleanse than dermaplaning, less resurfacing than a peel.

  • How much does HydraFacial cost in London?

Signature (30 min) is £120 to £180. Deluxe (45 min, one booster and LED) is £180 to £280. Platinum (60 min, lymphatic drainage and two boosters) is £250 to £380. Monthly memberships are typically £120 to £180 and deliver the best long-term value.

  • How often should I have HydraFacial for best results?

HydraFacial is a maintenance treatment. Monthly sessions, aligned with your skin cycle, give the strongest cumulative benefit. Do not expect a single session to correct significant ageing or pigmentation. Pair with a home routine of SPF, retinoid or vitamin C, and treat HydraFacial as the polish, not the foundation.
