How long does anti-wrinkle Botox last?
For most people, three to four months on a first treatment, extending to four to six months with regular top-ups as the treated muscles weaken. Metabolism, dose and area all influence duration.

Will my forehead look frozen?
Not if it is dosed properly. A consultant aesthetic doctor titrates the units to soften expression rather than abolish it - you should still be able to raise your brow gently. Frozen foreheads are usually the result of over-dosing or off-label injection points.

Is it safe long-term?
Yes. Botulinum toxin has been used medically for over 30 years and cosmetically for 20+. Regular treatment does not damage skin; if you stop, muscles regain function within 3–4 months and lines return to baseline.

What are the risks?
Bruising, mild headache, temporary asymmetry. Rare: ptosis (drooping eyelid or brow) in under 1 in 100 cases, usually resolves within weeks. We inject anatomically and mark carefully to minimise this.
